Ketan Sengupta

ASSOCIATE
New York

Ketan believes that effective communication begins with understanding human behavior, and that all relationships – between individuals, entities, or stakeholders – are predicated primarily on trust.

Prior to joining August, Ketan worked at JPMorganChase’s Private Bank, helping the firm’s biggest clients navigate complex financial situations. He’s drawn to fast-paced, high-stakes work, and is passionate about driving communications outcomes that advance clients’ broader business objectives.

Ketan’s time at the University of Chicago – where he studied behavioral economics and public policy, served as an editor for The Chicago Maroon, and wrote quarterly columns for a local fashion magazine – helped develop his appreciation for sharp, lucid prose and thoughtful research.

A native New Jerseyan and current New Yorker, Ketan has predictably strong opinions on bagels and predictably mixed feelings about flying out of EWR. He is a huge fan of public transport and refuses to drive if a train is available.
