Cari is an accomplished C-suite executive with decades of experience helping global corporations navigate crises and high-stakes situations of all kinds, including litigation matters, product liability, regulatory investigations and matters with U.S. and foreign governments, financial risks, restructuring and distressed situations, governance and compliance matters, sensitive human capital and employment situations, commercial and M&A transactions, issues of physical security, and cybersecurity and data privacy threats and incidents. She understands the importance of developing and deploying a durable narrative to protect and enhance value and reputation in the context of complex issue resolution.
Cari is also a public company Director at Aspen Aerogels and serves as Chair of the Board’s Nomination, Governance and Risk Committee and a member of the Audit Committee. She uses her combined expertise as a Director and litigator who worked at a multinational law firm and served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York with experience gained through Assistant General Counsel and General Counsel roles at IBM and Revlon, respectively, to provide informed and strategic guidance to her clients.
Cari is a frequent speaker on topics including crisis and risk management, strategic communications strategy, AI and big data, cybersecurity, corporate governance, compliance, corruption and investigations, leadership and business transformation.

As General Counsel, oversaw Revlon’s worldwide legal affairs, including acquisitions and divestitures, capital markets, strategic alternatives, insolvency and restructuring, corporate governance, compliance, regulatory matters, product liability, marketing, intellectual property, licensing, human capital, commercial and M&A transactions, litigation, global privacy and security and Board of Director responsibilities.
As a senior leader at IBM, ran a global team of lawyers and investigators in conducting regulatory, internal and cybersecurity investigations and defending worldwide government probes. Also managed worldwide global litigation matters.
