Elizabeth Cholis Joins August as Senior Advisor
Experienced Crisis, Litigation, and Change Management Counselor Strengthens August’s Expertise in Guiding Clients Through High-Stakes Situations
NEW YORK, March 30, 2026 – August, a specialized strategic communications advisory firm, announced today that Elizabeth Cholis has joined the firm as a Senior Advisor based in New York. Cholis brings more than 25 years of experience counseling senior executives and boards on complex situations, including high-profile litigation, government investigations, executive transitions, regulatory scrutiny, workplace matters, and business disruptions. At August, she will support client engagements and contribute to the firm’s work in crisis preparedness and response.

Cholis previously held senior roles at Brunswick Group, DGA Group, and FTI Consulting, and she has extensive experience advising clients on crisis preparedness, including risk audits, crisis response framework design, scenario planning, and tabletop and simulation exercises. She works with leadership teams to strengthen response capabilities and bring a disciplined approach to identifying and mitigating risk.
