The August team has provided strategic communications counsel to many clients in the context of cyber incidents. In these situations, we always align our work closely with our clients’ legal counsel, IT forensics teams, and other strategic advisors and internal teams to ensure we fully understand and appropriately deploy accurate messaging to their key stakeholders.
We also work to prepare clients for potential cybersecurity incidents, data breaches, and ransomware attacks by developing and instituting policies, procedures, and response plans that can be activated if and when an issue arises.
